Provost Star Award

The Provost and Vice Provosts started a new employee recognition program, called “Provost Stars”. At the town hall on October 8, 2015, each Vice Provost was asked to name one person from their portfolio who they would like to showcase for their contributions. Lynn Taylor picked me, to recognize contributions on the Provost’s Learning Technologies Task Force, development of the Strategic Framework for Learning Technologies, and for the early work to get the Learning Technologies Coaches Program started.

It was humbling, and somewhat awkward, as everything I do is as a part of a strong team – I literally could not do my job without the fantastic people in my team, and in the various teams and projects I am a member of. Everyone gets a star!
